The Palgrave Tennis Club (PTC) has four hard surfaced courts, with night lighting, available to our members from May to October.

Adding to our quaint country setting in Palgrave, we have our Historical Log Clubhouse with washrooms and kitchen facilities.

The Log Clubhouse began its life around 1840 as a pioneer home.  It then became the gift shop at Black Creek Pioneer Village.  When the Village reconfigured its entrance, the old structure became redundant, whereupon it was transported by huge flatbed trucks to Palgrave.  It has served as the Clubhouse for the Palgrave Tennis Club since the early 1980's.

The PTC Executive have worked hard behind the scenes,
and the 2026 tennis season is well underway!

Thank you to our amazing Executive, Coaches, and Volunteers who have an exciting summer of tennis planned for you.

We have several tournaments planned for youth and adults over the next couple of months.  See below and on the Upcoming Events page for further details.

We look forward to welcoming you on the courts!

PTC Youth Head to the National Bank Open for Rogers 'First Set' Day!
Picture
Our younger Palgrave Tennis Club members enjoyed an unforgettable experience at the National Bank Open, getting an exclusive front-row look at the world of professional tennis.

Here are the highlights from their action-packed day:
  • Morning Clinic on the NBO Practice Courts: Players kicked off the day with a hands-on, on-court tennis clinic while parents watched all the action from the Rogers Beyond the Seat Viewing Deck.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Our group went behind the scenes at Sobeys Stadium and caught pros warming up in the gym, the players private lounge, the interview/press room and much more.
  • Grandstand Opening Ceremony: Our players had the incredible honor of taking part in the Guard of Honour right on the Grandstand Court.
  • Suite Lunch & Centre Court Matches: The team enjoyed lunch inside a Sobeys Stadium suite while watching world-class action on Centre Court, the match featured Iga Świątek and Śára Bejlek.
  • Exclusive Q&A and Meet-and-Greet: Following the matches, players attended a special interview with rising star Victoria Mboko. A few lucky members even asked her questions directly and everyone walked away with autographs, photos and a massive group selfie hosted by Victoria herself!

A huge thank you to Coach Andres for organizing such an inspiring and magical day for our young athletes! And a special shout out to Coach Hailey for guiding us through the  day!

More photos from the day's experience can be seen in our
Photo Gallery.

Looking for a fun way to switch up your usual tennis routine and give singles a try? This is a great chance to step outside your comfort zone in a relaxed setting. No high-level experience or previous tournament experience is required — recreational means exactly that. The goal is to create a relaxed, judgement-free environment where you can try something new, play some tennis, and enjoy the day without the pressure of having to be perfect.

You don’t need to consider yourself a “tournament player” to participate. This event is designed for women who want to give singles a try, regardless of their experience or skill level. Come out, challenge yourself, meet other players, and most importantly, have fun!

The tournament will take place on Sunday, August 23.  Registration must be completed by Wednesday, August 19 using the link, https://forms.gle/aLaGtgvv5RaT8x6h7. The cost is $15 per participant, payable by cash or e-transfer. A lunch will be provided for all participants on tournament day.

Back by popular demand this summer - Adult Cardio Tennis!

The participants loved this new lesson format last year!

A typical Cardio Tennis lesson includes a quick warm-up, a cardio workout, and a cool down. You get short cycles of high intensity workout and periods of rest, similar to interval training, and, in addition, it will be a drills and ball feed class to  work on your strokes.  Further details can be found on the Programs page.

This is a great workout, both for tennis and fitness!  Don't miss out on this opportunity to up your game and show off your improved skills to your opponents!
